If you haven’t heard the whole story of how this 11 year old autistic girl was taunted by drunken Mardi Gras goers you can read her mother’s blog post about it here.
It kind of broke my heart to read about it and knowing that the Krewe of Muses stepped in and gave the girl her own private parade is pretty amazing. =)
